Le Grazie is a coastal village within 2 bus stops, and 20 minutes walk in the nature, from Portovenere. It presents the typical houses from Liguria, small and colourful, and has plenty to offer both to those looking for a short stay and to remote workers.
Two access points to the sea, a beach in proximity of refreshing pines, 400m far from home, and a small and characteristic beach exposed to the sun all daz long and just 800m away let the visitor swim in the quiet waters of the bay. The village presents, in low season as well, several eating or aperitivo options.
A large parking lot, with a daily fee in high and medium season and free in low season, makes reaching the place by car absolutely easy. La Spezia is only 20 minutes away by bus (every 15 minuti) and Cinque Terre are connected in high season through the ferry lines.
The location is ideal to enjoy the area in high season, stazing in a quiet but connected place, and for those looking for warm weather and all the services in low season.
One of the reasons we recommend everyone to spend a few days in Le Grazie is the easy access to countless outdoor activities. A climb on the Muzzerone rock face, hanging over the sea, perhaps followed by lunch at the mountain hut of the same name. A hike to watch the sunrise over the entire Gulf from the ancient marble quarries of Monte Castellana. Walking along the "Sentiero dell’Infinito" between Portovenere and Riomaggiore, considered by many to be the most spectacular trail in the world. Spending a day up and down the sea-cliff vineyards of the Tramonti villages. All these activities can be started directly on foot from the house: the trail head to the Ligurian trail network is only a few hundred meters away.
